Harlem Healthy Soul Festival

Join With Food in Mind at the second annual Harlem Healthy Soul Festival at the Apollo Theater on Saturday, September 13.

Building on the Apollo Theater’s role as a community resource and gathering place, the Harlem Healthy Soul Festival is designed to serve as a platform for Harlem families to learn about the numerous community health resources to live active and vibrant lives. This year’s Festival includes celebrity appearances, including health expert Dr. Ian Smith, R&B singer Faith Evans, Darian “Big Tigger” Morgan, and the NY Knicks.

With Food in Mind will be in the Children’s Pavilion fr, with a drop-in workshop focusing on Africa masks. Children will use fresh fruits and vegetables to recreate the Baule Kple Kple mask from Côte d’Ivoire — and then they'll eat them!

The Harlem Healthy Soul Festival runs from 12pm to 6pm; WFiM is on site from 12pm–2pm. For information, visit the Apollo online.
