The Fruity Pop Workshop makes its downtown Manhattan debut at GrowNYC’s Union Square Greenmarket—a bountiful, bustling food hub in New York City. School and summer camp groups will work collaboratively to prepare a berry fizzy drink, and make paper murals for their classrooms. Thanks to Grow NYC, this program will feature a colorful array of beets, okra, string beans, apples, raspberries, and peaches from surrounding farm stands.
WFiM will be positioned next to the Education and EBT stations, a location that resonates with our mission to bring educational programs to New York City’s low-income residents. It’s a little-known fact that Union Square is the highest grossing EBT Greenmarket.
